Want better sleep without compromising your values?
I can help you have better sleep while still responding to your little one in the way you want to.
Many parents of babies and toddlers come to me with very challenging sleep situations.
Some have little ones who are waking every hour or more through the night. Some will only sleep on or next to a parent, but wriggle so much that parents can’t sleep.
Some breastfeeding parents spend much of the night with their little one latched onto the breast, trying to keep them asleep.
Some little ones wake for hours in the middle of the night or wake ready to start the day at 4am.
Some families spend miserable hours during the day and night trying to soothe a crying baby to sleep.
Days can start to revolve around sleep, making it harder for families to get out and do things that they enjoy. Many parents find themselves desperately searching for solutions but frustrated and confused by the huge amount of conflicting advice, some of which doesn’t feel right to them.
Every parent is doing their best to care for their little one while keeping going themselves. Many feel exhausted, overwhelmed and worried that things will never get better.
If you recognise yourself and your little one in these stories, you're in the right place. There is hope and things can improve, often surprisingly quickly, with no need to change how you feed or respond to your little one.
I am a Chartered Child and Educational Psychologist and sleep specialist, with extensive training in sleep and child development. I am also accredited in the Possums (Neuroprotective Developmental Care) approach.
This means my work is grounded in an evidence-based, whole-picture understanding of early development—considering sleep alongside feeding, sensory and motor development, communication, and emotional wellbeing.
Supporting families with little ones’ sleep is particularly close to my heart because of my own experiences as a new parent. I know how exhausting it can be when sleep isn’t going well, and how important it is to find an approach that you feel happy with.
How it works
For babies and toddlers, I offer sleep support through online consultations, which can be booked flexibly as needed. There is often no need for sleep diaries and no written sleep plan with complicated instructions.
Once you understand how sleep works, in connection with your little one’s overall development, it becomes much clearer how you can improve your situation. We then discuss simple, manageable next steps together.
If your little one has additional needs or your situation is more complex, I may suggest a different way of working. You are welcome to get in touch to discuss your situation.

“Highly recommend 5 stars without a doubt! Helen has the art to simplify and share, the magic toolbox that actually works. I only wish I had found her sooner.”
